Biography

Dr. EL Zoghbi (Dr. Z) earned his dental degree from the Lebanese University of Beirut and his Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Orthopaedics from the Paris VII University of France.  After his speciality studies, he completed a 2 years research program on biomaterials in Orthodontics in the French National Health Research Institute (INSERM) followed by a four-year Associate Assistant Lecturer in Orthodontics at the Paris VII University giving lectures for Postgraduate students along with giving Orthodontic Clinical training at the Hotel Dieu de Paris hospital in Paris. He is established in his private practice at Choisy le Roi in the suburbs of Paris and has treated more than 1000 patients with Clear Aligners. Since January 2020 he is a key expert and Speaker for Spark Clear Aligners and responsible for Spark certifications in France.

Biography

Au cours de ses 28 années chez Ormco,
Steve a occupé plusieurs fonctions, aussi
bien commerciales que dans le
développement des produits. En tant que
“geek ortho”, autodidacte, il s’est
notamment concentré sur l’étude de la
biomécanique et a contribué au
développement des appareils fixes fondés
sur la philosophie du Dr Dwight Damon.
Son approche pratique de l’ingénierie
fondamentale des appareils autoligaturants
passifs, ont fait de lui un conférencier de
premier plan lors d’événements
orthodontiques internationaux depuis plus
d’une décennie.

Biography

Dr. João Pato is a dentist licensed by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, where he took his post-graduate degree in Orthodontics. He extended his studies with a post-graduate degree in Lingual Orthodontics from the Complutense University of Madrid and by attending the course “Expert in Orthognathic Surgery” by the International University of Catalonia. He is Spark™ Clear Aligners Key Expert and he is regularly involved in national and international courses on digital Orthodontics.

Biography

Dr. Frost received his dental degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry for 5 years – two with his father and three in his own office. Following a one-year fellowship in temporomandibular joint dysfunction, he completed a two-year residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Rochester. Dr. Frost practices in Mesa, Arizona. He is currently a part-time associate clinical professor at the University of the Pacific orthodontic program and has lectured on the Damon system at several Damon Forums and other Ormco-sponsored events, including the national American Association of Orthodontists annual session and component meetings and his own Damon in-office seminars. By his peers, Dr. Frost has been named one of Phoenix’s top orthodontists for the periods of 2004-2006 and 2008-2010.

Biography

A diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Bicknell earned his DDS and completed a residency in orthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he also received a MS in oral biology. Now in private practice, he is a former clinical instructor at the university and continues his involvement there by lecturing to dental students and orthodontic residents throughout the year. He is active in his local community where he supports many organizations.
